I am studying human communication so I am learning how to effectively communicate! I enjoy helping students gain a better understanding of their material. I also encourage persistence and want students to enjoy their educational experience just as I have so far. I have tutored and mentored students privately in the past with great success. One young man in particular saw a dramatic improvement in his writing and comprehension skills after just a few weeks of tutoring with me. Most remarkably and rewarding for me was to see his attitude change from negative to excited about learning and positive just by gaining a little extra encouragement.
