I firmly believe that classroom-based learning is not the only way to learn. Schooling is invaluable, but personalized education allows the student to fully master a subject. Through solid understanding, a student develops the skills and qualities necessary to succeed in academia and life. By learning, we expand our understanding of the world in an important way. Private education takes an individual student's personal needs in account while developing a targeted plan to improve their knowledge. Since everyone learns differently, they need to be taught in a way that allows them to best absorb the information. I work directly with students on a one-on-one way to address their learning needs in math, language, literature, music, science, and other subject areas. My goal is to help each student achieve total comprehension of each concept, expanding upon the basics to include more advanced topics. I can work with students to prepare them for standardized tests, such as the GRE, GED, PSAT, SAT, and ACT exams. Tutoring is a valuable part of education that can fill in missing knowledge while preparing students for future coursework. Outside of tutoring, I love playing competitive chess. I enjoy listening to music, as well as watching and playing soccer.
